Whatever it is, I believe therapy is a process that anyone can benefit from — not because something is broken, but because growth and healing are available to all of us when we have the right space to explore.

I’m Bob, a Licensed Professional Counselor and the Clinical Director of Adults and Couples Therapy at Leadlight Counseling. In that role, I provide clinical oversight and mentorship to our team of adult and couples therapists and interns — which means I spend a lot of time thinking about what makes therapy actually work.

I hold a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Aquinas College and work with individual adults (18+) and couples. I specialize in anxiety, life transitions, and relational issues, and I particularly enjoy working with couples navigating communication breakdowns, trust repair, and premarital conversations. My approach draws from Person-Centered Theory, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Attachment Theory, and Relationally Focused Psychodynamic Theory — all of which share a common thread: the belief that healing happens in relationship. I deeply value the connections I build with the people I work with, and I look forward to hearing your story.
