Dr. Lindsey Blodgett, PhD, LPC
Executive Clinical Director, Therapist
Dr. Lindsey Blodgett is a Licensed Professional Counselor and the Founder and Executive Clinical Director of Leadlight Counseling. Lindsey provides strategic and clinical leadership for the practice while continuing to offer therapy to a caseload of ongoing clients (though she is not currently accepting new clients). Her work—whether in the therapy room, the classroom, or in supervision—is shaped by her conviction that healing is possible, that stories can change, and that hope is never foolish. Clinically, Lindsey has experience working with anxiety, eating disorders, self-harm, depression, adjustment issues, grief, and sexual trauma, and she has special interest and training in perinatal mood disorders. She considers it a profound privilege to companion clients through their most fragile and formative seasons and believes deeply that patterns once felt immovable can shift with safety, insight, and relational support.
In addition to her work at Leadlight, Lindsey teaches periodically as adjunct faculty in a graduate counseling program, provides clinical supervision, and develops trainings for mental health providers and community partners. She is passionate about nurturing clinicians—helping them grow in clinical excellence, reflective capacity, and sustainable practice.
Lindsey holds a Ph.D. from Regent University, a Master’s in Counseling from Grand Rapids Theological Seminary, and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Hope College. She currently serves as the Past-President of the Michigan Counseling Association, where she continues to advocate for the elevation of the counseling profession across the state.
