Rachel March
Masters Level Counseling Intern
Hi, I’m Rachel! I am an intern therapist and am part of the child, adolescent, and family therapy team. While I enjoy working with ages 3 to young adults, I find myself particularly passionate about working with young children and the caregivers who love them. I offer a gentle, supportive space where kids and families can feel safe, understood, and encouraged. You will find that my approach centers on emotional connection. I love helping children express their feelings, build confidence, and navigate challenges that feel big or confusing. Whatever you or your child may be struggling with, my goal is to invite you in to feel heard, seen, and known.
Ages I work with
- 3 – Young Adults
I’m currently enrolled as a Master of Social Work clinical student at Spring Arbor University, and receive regular supervision from a Registered Play Therapist along with a team of excellent child and adolescent therapists. I also engage in providing clinical therapy at Lowell Elementary Schools. I use playful, strengths-based approaches and enjoy helping kids learn mindfulness skills and CBT tools in developmentally appropriate, compassionate ways. In my work with teens and young adults, I seek to provide a therapy space in which clients know that they can simply “be.” I enjoy helping teens and young people find their own unique voice in the world
Before pursuing a degree in clinical therapy, I supported children and families in my career who were navigating autism diagnoses, trauma, anxiety, foster care, depression, and other complex stressors. I am neuro-affirming and particularly passionate about helping children on the autism spectrum. As a parent myself, I understand the pressure families carry and strive to make therapy a calm, consistent place for both you and your child.
I welcome families from all backgrounds and am glad to integrate Christian faith into therapy if requested. It’s a privilege to walk alongside children and the caregivers who love them. I look forward to meeting you and your child!
