Hi, I’m Katie! I love working with college students and young adults moving through the big (and sometimes messy!) transitions that come with this stage of life. Starting college or finishing it. Moving away from home, or back to it. First jobs, shifting friendships, and figuring out who you are and what you want. It’s a lot, and it often comes with anxiety, depression, or a harder relationship with your body than you’d like.

Body image and eating concerns are a core part of my work. I support teens and young adults with restrictive eating, binge eating, and bulimia, helping them build a healthier relationship with food, their bodies, and themselves. Recovery looks different for everyone, and I meet each person with compassion and without judgment.

I also work with children 8 and up and their families, with a specialty in ARFID (Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder), especially when it shows up alongside anxiety, OCD, or neurodivergence. I collaborate with Leadlight’s ARFID consultation team so families get consistent, informed care. Having worked in schools for several years, I also help kids and teens with anxiety, ADHD, school challenges, and social-emotional skills.

My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and practical. Sessions might mean talking things through, working on specific skills, or simply having a consistent space where you feel understood. I draw from CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, and somatic work, and I provide affirming, inclusive care for LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent clients.

I offer sessions in person at our Wyoming office or virtually. Virtual sessions make it easy to fit therapy in between classes, work, or time with friends, and they work well for many of the concerns I treat.
