Whether that’s a struggle with addiction, a cycle of anxiety or depression you can’t seem to break, a relationship that keeps hitting the same wall, or something harder to name: you don’t have to keep navigating it alone. Past patterns may have shaped your life for a time — but they don’t have to define what comes next. I’m Kyle, a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC), and holder of a Master of Divinity (MDiv) — a combination that’s rare in the counseling world.

The CAADC means I have specialized, advanced-level training in addiction and substance use, not just general exposure. The MDiv means I have deep fluency in spiritual and existential questions — the kind that often sit underneath the surface of depression, addiction, and life transitions. I hold both with equal seriousness, and I know how to work at that intersection when it’s relevant to you.

I graduated from Grand Valley State University with my MSW and have 6 years of clinical experience working with individuals on addiction, depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship concerns, men’s issues, ADHD, and major life transitions. I also provide DUI assessments. I work with teens and adults (17+) and approach every session with a strength-based mindset — because I’ve never met a person without real strengths worth building on.
