At Leadlight Counseling, we believe good care begins with being known.
We’re a team of therapists serving children, teens, adults, couples, and families across West Michigan, bringing clinical expertise and genuine connection to the work of healing.
From the beginning, Leadlight was designed to serve both the client receiving care and the clinician providing it. We believe clinicians need the same connection, support, and room to grow that we value for our clients. By investing in our team, we create a practice where thoughtful, compassionate care can thrive.
With offices in Holland, Cascade, and Wyoming, we offer a welcoming place to bring your questions, struggles, relationships, and hopes. Whatever brings you here, we’ll take time to understand your story and work alongside you toward meaningful change.
Our name comes from the art of joining pieces of glass with lead to create a window.

People to Be Known
We see every client as a whole person with a story worth understanding—not a problem to be fixed. Diagnosis helps guide care, but it never defines the person in front of us.
Doing Our Own Work
We believe effective care starts with self-awareness, and we can’t ask clients to do work we’re unwilling to do ourselves. We engage in our own reflection, growth, and accountability to stay grounded, ethical, and human in the work.
Community and Collaboration
We’re better together. Healing doesn’t happen in isolation. We create space for belonging, honest dialogue, and shared wisdom—cultivating a culture of openness, curiosity, and mutual support where clinicians can both give and receive care within the context of community.
