Ana Snow, Masters Level Counseling Intern
Ana is a counseling intern at Leadlight Counseling, currently working toward her master’s in clinical mental health counseling at Cornerstone University, with graduation expected at the end of this summer. Born and raised in Holland, MI, she is proud to serve her community through her work.
Ana's passion for counseling began during her undergraduate studies, where she recognized that the quality of the therapeutic relationship is the foundation of effective support. She values creating strong, safe, and trusting relationships with her clients, believing that this connection is key to their healing journey.
Specializing in emotion-focused and trauma-focused therapies, Ana is certified in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT) and incorporates emotion-focused techniques into her practice. Her background includes working with children, providing behavioral therapy to those with autism, and serving as an assistant teacher in a middle school, where she supported children with developmental challenges and ADHD. Over the past year, Ana has gained broad experience working with individuals of all ages.
She believes that counseling is a calling and is deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve each of her clients at Leadlight Counseling. As an intern Ana receives regular supervision from our clinicial directors and works on a team of phenomenal therapists who are experts in their field to assure you that you will be receiving a high level of quality care. To make therapy affordable and to meet the needs of the community she charges an intern rate between $20-$60 per session.
